A three-day ideathon “Dissemination of participatory democracy tools in the territorial communities of Eastern Ukraine” started today in Ivano-Frankivsk.The event was held in extreme conditions without light and heating, but with motivated participants and in a warm and friendly atmosphere!Some activists waited for 10 hours at the train station for their train to Ivano-Frankivsk, some went by hitchhiking, but we all gathered and worked productively.And what romantic coffee breaks and dinner we had! Mmmm! In the dark, by candlelight…Conclusion: if Ukrainians decided to do something, they can not be stopped by darkness, cold or lack of trains.We are ready to work on building democracy and influencing the authorities in the country even without light.We sincerely thank the project team for brilliant crisis management!We are proud of all participants who, despite the hardships, have a sincere desire to work!
