PUBLIC ORGANIZATION "VOLUNTEER INITIATIVE ‘STATION KHARKIV’" is a non-profit organization that unites citizens on the basis of common interests of its members to achieve the goal of the Statute.

Activity

The public organization is created and operates on the basis of voluntariness, equality of its members, self-organization, legality, lack of property interest of members, transparency, openness and publicity.

The purpose of the organization is to promote and protect the legitimate economic, social, cultural, environmental, educational and other interests of members of the organization. Additionally, we aim to promote growth of healthy humanistic civil society, as well as to provide assistance to vulnerable groups of people and people in difficult life situations.

To achieve this goal, the public organization operates in the following areas:

Promoting the patriotic education and self-consciousness of citizens, the capability of critical thinking, and making reasonable social choices aimed at the prosperity of the society; ensuring comprehensive development of a harmonious and holistic personality, development of his/her abilities and talents; enriching the intellectual potential of the people, their values and culture;
Assistance in the organization and support of charitable and other social activities, providing assistance to members of public organizations in order to support socially vulnerable groups;
Promoting the principles of volunteering in Ukraine, initiating and assisting in conducting public volunteer actions;
Participation in the development of the rule of law and strengthening the information security of the state, promoting the implementation of such activities.
