Active citizenship should be developed from childhood. A culture of respect for human rights, critical thinking, civic activism, and concern for the fate of one’s community and country should be the basic values of a modern Ukrainian.
Our sub-grantees have developed a pilot curriculum for the development of participatory democracy in the Shcherbaniv Lyceum in Poltava Oblast. Right now, specialists are successfully implementing it in their school.
